Some comments on registration fees
We at Cochrane Austria have calculated the registration fees based on two principles: to keep the fees for LMIC and consumers as low as past years, and to cover the costs of hosting the Colloquium without making any profit.
The registration costs for the 2015 Colloquium are higher than for past years for high-income countries; however the Colloquium is in fact cheaper than comparable conferences in Europe in 2015, especially considering that it is a 5-day event and both the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner are included in the registration fee (to promote inclusiveness). Further to this, we will not accept any conflicted sponsoring, as per Cochrane policies. We do hope you understand and encourage you to register early and apply for funding/stipends where eligible.
* A limited number of student registrations are available for full-time students only (not post-doctoral or PhD students). To benefit from the student fee, please send an email to registration@cochrane.org including proof that you are a full time student (e.g. a confirmation of enrollment). Once proof is verified you will receive instructions on how to register.
