Cochrane Stories is a new series of sessions introduced at the Vienna Colloquium. The aim of Cochrane Stories is to provide a space for people to “tell their stories” – the stories of Cochrane successes, challenges, and where Cochrane has made a difference.
These sessions will certainly be of interest to newcomers and people who work primarily outside of Cochrane but also to fellow Cochrane contributors. Join us to hear – Cochrane Stories.
Chairs: TBA
Speakers:
Mike Clarke, Director of Evidence Aid
Evidence Aid was established immediately following the Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004. Hear stories about its successes and challenges over the last 10 years from director Mike Clarke.
Claire Glenton & Simon Lewin, authors of the Cochrane Review on lay health workers
This review was a milestone for Cochrane in many ways due to the methodological complexity. Hear about the review and the impact it has had on public health worldwide from two of the authors in person.
